comparison

Comparison makes a person less creative..losers imitate winners....winners compare their old selves.

The motivation should come from the inner self. :D

death

I visualise myself jumping down from Empire State..... it does sound morbid, but I can't stop what my mind run through in me.

Why Empire State? I had stood up high on the 108th storey...

Fun, Boredom & Games

Human are constantly seeking fun.
People play games because inherently they are bored, especially in this modern technology age.
Probably it is just kinda hard to satisfy the needs of mankind.

The Day After Tomorrow

Lately Singapore has been raining almost non-stop

It just reminds me of "Noah of Ark".
I think human race should be wiped out, and start all over again.
So, pairs of animals are kept in the ship for shelter til the catastrophe is over.

anime is like fashion

Anime comes & goes;
it may be remembered or forgottened by audience;
it recycles its story;
it has its all time favourites too.

wheat grass

Wheat grass contains 70% of the plants' chlorophyll. Effectively speaking, we are drinking the "blood" of the plant. The best part is that it clears our intestine. So far, I can only find Pin Le Soya Milk with wheat grass powder.

name

Names are given by our parents; names encompose hopes and expectations of our parents; these are being imposed to us even before we are born.

Somehow, I strongly believe though we are not given a choice to exist in this world;
we could in every way choose how we want to live and lead our lives.

a Soulmate?

What does it mean the right man ?
The love of your life ?
The concept is absurb !!!
The idea that we can only be complete with another person is evil, right ?

The above lines are found in Before Sunset, where Julie in her angst mood, retaliated Ethan. ...Actually, I can't agree more with Julie.

Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy had one afternoon to find out if they could retrieve their lost romance. They last met 8 years ago.

Ethan wished that they could have exchange contact details then. Julie simply answered, the past is the past; it is meant like that. ...

Ethan dreamt that he was with Julie, but when he woke up, he was shocked to find out the woman beside him was his wife and not Julie.

I have an almost exact experience like Julie that had played in the movie.

Repetition

Repetition is one of the elements found in principles of design and visual art.

These are the repetition of sequences that I found in watching Death Note 1 and 2.

Death Note 1
  • KillPerson1 ---> KillPerson2 ---> KillPerson3 --->KillPerson4 ---> so forth

Death Note 2 :

  • Kira1 ---> Kira2 ---> Kira3
  • DeathNote1 ---> DeathNote2
  • God of Death1 ---> God of Death2

deleting unwanted memories ?

http://moksheungming.tripod.com/zzz1.html

According to this site, it employs sound psychology.

For myself, a movie or an instrumental music that exactly describes my mental state has helped to alleviate the pain. I have played repeatedly too. It does help to face the truth.

Memories can't be erased; there's another realm of consciousness being recorded. An analogy will be files in computer as compared to our subconsciousness : it's almost like even if a file is deleted, there will be fragments being left behind.

In the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, when Joel finds out that he's been erased by Clementine, and he decides to do the same. However, as the memories are slowly erased, Joel tries his best to resist the procedure and hide the memories inside his own mind.

When the time has passed, all we left are memories, be it be good or bad...we just have to deal with it.

taiyou no uta movie

The official translation to English "Taiyou no uta" is "A Song to the Sun." It's being released internationally as "Midnight Sun."

Kaoru, a girl suffering from an incurable illness where she can't go out in the sun. As such, this makes her a nocturnal being. She would bring her guitar and sing in the street at night when that is the only time no UV rays would harm and kill her.

Koji, a high school duke, seems entirely different from Kaoru. He enjoys the sun and loves surfing.

One of the climax scene is whereby Koji brings her to Yokohama city to sing. It is heartwarming to see as she sings in the street, more audiences come around to support her.

I have enjoyed the movie -- sincerity displayed in the relation between people and the courage to believe in your ability. The only limit comes is from yourself.
